§ 16-118. Applicability.

(a)

All ambulances, personnel, and ambulance services in the parish shall be governed by the provision of this article, unless specifically exempted.

(b)

The provisions of this article shall not be applicable to the following:

(1)

Medical transportation vehicles and ambulances owned and operated by the United States government or any agency thereof.

(2)

Industrial ambulances, owned and operated by an industry for the sole purpose of providing emergency transport to their employees.

(3)

Emergency vehicles owned and operated by the City of Shreveport.
