§ 16-225. Process.

  • (a)

    The ambulance board shall investigate signed, written complaints against owners, operators, and drivers and attendants of ambulances which it shall receive, and may in its discretion investigate any other complaint or allegation of impropriety which is brought to its attention. Copies of all signed, written complaints shall be made available to the parties against whom they are directed and such parties shall be given an opportunity respond thereto.

    (b)

    When the ambulance board's investigation discloses that the requirements of this article has been violated, it shall report its findings to the parish administrator with such recommendation for suspension or revocation of licenses as it may deem appropriate in the premises.
