§ 18-8. Basis for establishing the areas of special flood hazard.

The areas of special flood hazard identified by the Federal Emergency Management Agency in a scientific and engineering report entitled, "The Flood Insurance Study (FIS) for Caddo Parish and Incorporated Areas," dated May 19, 2014, with accompanying flood insurance rate maps (FIRM) dated May 19, 2014, and any revisions thereto are hereby adopted by reference and declared to be a part of this chapter. However, the map titled "Red River Special Flood Hazard Area" which is filed with the department of public works and hereby adopted by reference as a part of this chapter shall supersede all other maps and data for that area on the map which lies between the Caddo Parish Levee and boundary between Caddo Parish and Bossier Parish.
