§ 38-2. Definitions.

  • For the purposes of this chapter, the following definitions shall apply:

    Commercial structure shall mean any building constructed, placed or improved for purposes of non-residential business activity.

    Industrial structure shall mean any building constructed, placed or improved for purposes of manufacturing activity.

    Person, as used herein, shall include, but not be limited to, property owners, developers, builders, contractors, real estate sales persons, mobile home dealers, mobile home sales persons and mobile home movers.

    Residential structure shall mean any dwelling constructed, placed or improved and used as a residence or by residents for purposes of living accommodations.

    Substantial improvements shall mean any repair, construction or improvement, the cost of which exceeds 50 percent of the market value of the existing structure.
