§ 44-96. Boundaries.

  • Caddo Parish Fire District Number Three shall consist of the area within the following described boundaries:

    (1)

    Beginning at the Louisiana-Texas state line on the south side of section 30, township 16 north, range 16 west, run north along the state line to the north side of section 31, township 18 north, range 16 west; thence run easterly along the north side of sections 31, 32, 33, 34, 35, and 36 of township 18 north, range 16 west, to the 172-foot contour of Cross Lake, said contour is the city limits of Shreveport; thence start in an easterly direction and continue along the 172-foot contour to the west side of Shorewood Hills Subdivision in section 3, township 17 north, range 15 west; thence start in a southeasterly direction and continue along the westerly city limits line to the east side of section 12, township 16 north, range 15 west; thence run south along the east side of said section to the southeast corner of said section 12; thence run west along the south side of sections 12 and 11, township 16 north, range 15 west, to the southwest corner of said section 11; thence run south to the southeast corner of section 15, township 16 north, range 15 west; thence run west to the southwest corner of section 17, township 16 north, range 15 west; thence south to the southeast corner of section 30, township 16 north, range 15 west; thence run west to the point of beginning.

    A tract of land of section 12, township 17 north, range 15 west, described as beginning at a point on the south line of section 12 township 17 north, range 15 west, said point being 148 feet east of the southeast corner of the south half of the southwest quarter of the southwest quarter of said section 12;     A tract of land out of the south half of the northwest quarter of section 03 (T16N-R15W), being more particularly described as: begin at a point on the northwesterly right-of-way line of the Buncomb Road with said point being located more or less, 1921.20 feet south and 1534.60 feet east of the northwest corner of said section 03 (T16N-R15W), and also being the southeast corner of the William A. Minter tract of property; run thence west a distance of 768.60 feet; run thence north a distance of 456.40 feet; run thence east a distance of 1247.40 feet to the intersection with the said northwesterly right-of-way line of the Buncomb Road; run thence in a southwesterly direction along the said northwesterly line of the Buncomb Road a distance of 624.10 feet to the point of beginning, and containing 10.55 acres, more or less.

    A tract of land out of the south half of the northwest quarter of section 03 (T16N-R15W), being more particularly described as: begin at the center point of said section 03 (T16N-R15W); run thence north along the north-south centerline of said section 03 a distance of 486.70 feet; run thence north 89 degrees 56 minutes 00 seconds west a distance of 1035.00 feet to the intersection with the southeast corner of a tract of land shown on the map of survey as recorded in Conveyance book 703, page 257, in Conveyance book 703, page 255, and in Conveyance book 729, page 299, of the Records of Caddo Parish, Louisiana; run thence in a northeasterly direction along the easterly line of said map of survey recorded the following three calls: north 54 degrees 54 minutes east a distance of 45.00 feet; north 53 degrees 37 minutes east a distance of 45.00 feet; and north 48 degrees 52 minutes east a distance of 45.00 feet to the northeast corner of tract of land shown on the said map of survey recorded; run thence north 77 degrees 00 minutes west a distance of 150.00 feet to the intersection with the southeasterly right-of-way line of the Buncomb Road; run thence in a southwesterly direction along the said southeasterly line of the Buncomb Road to the intersection with the south line of the said south half of the northwest quarter of section 03 (T16N-R15W); run thence east along the said south line of the south half of the northwest quarter of section 03 to the center point of section 03, the point of beginning, and containing 15.39 acres, more or less.
