Fire District Number Four shall consist of an additional noncontiguous territory with
the following described boundaries:
Beginning at a point on the north line of Flournoy-Lucas Road and the north-south
centerline of section 6, township 16 north, range 14 west, run westerly and northerly
along the right-of-way line of Flournoy-Lucas Road to its intersection with the west
line of said section 6 at Church Street; run thence north along the west side of said
section 6, township 16 north, range 14 west, and section 31, township 17 north, range 14 west, to a point along said section line approximately
1,575 feet southerly from the northwest corner of said section 31, said point along the north line of the Mrs. L. J. Alcocke Succession; run thence
easterly along the said Alcocke Succession for a distance of 3,060 feet; run thence
northerly approximately 450 feet to the south line of the A. B. Garrett property;
run thence westerly along the said A. B. Garrett property to the southwest corner
of said property; run thence northerly along the west line of said Garrett property
to the north line of said section 31; run thence easterly along the said north line of section 31 and along the south line of section 30, township 17 north, range 14 west, to the intersection with the western boundary
of lot 3 of Rosalie Farms Subdivision, as per the map filed and recorded in book 600,
page 159, of the Conveyance Records of Caddo Parish, Louisiana; run thence northerly
along the said western boundary of lot 3 and along the western boundary of lot 2 to
the southernmost corner of lot 1 of said Rosalie Farms Subdivision; run thence northeasterly
along the southeastern boundary of said lot 1 a distance of 519.55 feet more or less
to the northwesterly corner of the Queensborough Masonic Lodge property; run thence
south 35 degrees 51 minutes east a distance of 300.25 feet to a point on the southeastern
boundary of said lot 2; run thence northeasterly along the said southeastern boundary
of lot 2 of Rosalie Farms Subdivision a distance of 640.99 feet to the most easterly
corner of said lot 2 and to the intersection with the southwesterly right-of-way line
of the Meriwether Road; run thence southeasterly along the southwesterly and south
right-of-way line of Meriwether Road to Jewella Avenue: thence south along Jewella
to the northerly right-of-way line of the Inner Loop; thence westerly along the northerly
right-of-way line of the Inner Loop to Walker Road; thence south along Walker Road
to the north line of section 5, township 16 north, range 14 west; thence west along
section 5 a distance of 3,400 feet to a point; run thence south 00 degrees 58 minutes
00 seconds west a distance of 1,945.35 feet to the north line of Cedar Creek Drive;
run thence in a westerly direction along the said north line of said Cedar Creek Drive
and being along a curve to the right having a delta angle of 16 degrees 00 minutes
00 seconds and a radius of 1,388.07 feet a distance of 387.54 feet to the point of
said curve; run thence south 89 degrees 44 minutes 07 seconds west 687.11 feet; run
thence north 00 degrees 15 minutes 53 seconds west a distance of 667.36 feet; run
thence south 89 degrees 52 minutes 59 seconds west a distance of 675.90 feet to a
point on the east line of Dean Road; run thence in a southerly direction along the
said east line of Dean Road and being the west line of the L.E. Walker Subdivision,
to the north line of the Flournoy-Lucas Road; thence west to a point of beginning.
Said district shall, however, specifically exclude all territories which may now or
subsequently be included within the corporate limits of the City of Shreveport.
Said district shall, however, specifically include all property located in section
5, township 16 north, range 14 west, Caddo Parish, Louisiana which is not now included
within the corporate limits of the City of Shreveport or within the boundaries of
any Caddo Parish Fire District.
