§ 44-172. Boundaries.

(a)

Caddo Parish Fire District Number Six shall consist of the area within the following described boundaries:

Beginning at the southeast line of section 31, township 16 north, range 13 west, and the Caddo-DeSoto Parish line, run north along the east section line of sections 31, 30, 19, 18, and 7 to the point of intersection with a line running south 64 degrees 27 minutes west, from a point that is 288.38 feet south 26 degrees 15 minutes east of the most northerly corner of lot 18, Arthur-Ray Partition; thence north 64 degrees 27 minutes east to the point of intersection with a line running south 26 degrees 15 minutes east from a point that is 60 feet south 64 degrees 27 minutes west of the most northerly corner of lot 18, Arthur-Ray Partition; thence north 26 degrees 15 minutes west to the south line of said lot 18; thence east along said lot to the west right-of-way line of the KCS Railroad; thence northwesterly, along same, to the east line of said section 7; thence northerly along said section line to the northeast corner of section 7; thence run west along the north section line of section 7 to the west right-of-way line of KCS Railroad; thence run in a northerly and westerly direction along the city limits of Shreveport to the west line of section 17, township 16 north, range 14 west; thence run south along the west section line of sections 17 and 20 to the southwest corner of said section; thence run west along the north section line of section 30, township 16 north, range 14 west, and north of section 25, township 16 north, range 15 west, to the northeast corner of the northwest quarter of the northwest quarter of section 25, township 16 north, range 15 west; thence south 3960 feet to the northeast corner of the southwest quarter of the southwest quarter of section 25, township 16 north, range 15 west; thence north 89 degrees 52 minutes west 1321.75 feet to the west line of section 25, township 16 north, range 15 west; thence run south along the west section line of sections 25 and 36, township 16 north, range 15 west, and west of sections 1 and 12, township 15 north, range 15 west, to the southwest corner of said section; thence run west along the north section line of sections 14 and 15 to the northwest corner of section 15, township 15 north, range 15 west; thence south along the west lines of sections 15, 22, 27, and 34 of township 15 north, range 15 west, and along the west line of section 3, township 14 north, range 15 west, to the Caddo-DeSoto Parish line; thence run in a northeasterly direction along the Caddo-DeSoto Parish line to the east section line of section 31, township 16 north, range 13 west, to the point of beginning.

(b)

Said district shall, however, specifically exclude all property which is now included within the corporate limits of the City of Shreveport, including but not limited to the Annexation Ordinances of the City of Shreveport, Louisiana.
