The waterworks district created in this division shall contain within its boundaries
the following described territory, lying wholly within the parish, in township 20
north, ranges 15 and 16 west, and township 21 north, range 16 west:
Beginning at the United States government monument marking the northeast corner of
the northeast quarter of section 12, township 20 north, range 16 west, Caddo Parish, Louisiana; thence southward along
the eastern boundary line of said section 12 a distance of 4036.12 feet; thence east 1320 feet to the northeast corner of lot
13, Dorrity Subdivision, second filing (per map in Conveyance book 300, page 542,
of the records of Caddo Parish); thence south 337.5 feet to the southeast corner of
lot 14 of said Dorrity Subdivision; run thence west parallel to the south line of
section 7, township 20 north, range 15 west and section 12, township 20 north, range 16 west, a distance of approximately 3374 feet to the easterly
line of State Highway No. 1; thence southeasterly along said right-of-way to the north
line of section 13, township 20 north, range 16 west; thence east along said section line to the northwest
corner of the northeast quarter of the northeast quarter thereof; thence south to
intersect the U.S. traverse line of Ferry (Caddo) Lake; thence along said traverse
line as follows: south 45 degrees east to angle point number 3 of said U.S. traverse,
west 330 feet, south 40 degrees, west 330 feet, south 396 feet, south 20 degrees,
east 792 feet to intersect the 173.09-foot contour line of said lake; thence along
said contour line northwesterly, easterly, northeasterly and westerly to angle point
number 1 of said U.S. traverse; thence along said U.S. traverse north 10 degrees west
to the south line of section 12, township 20 north, range 16 west; thence west along said south line to the southwest
corner of said section 12 which is also the southeast corner of section 11, township 20 north, range 16 vest; thence west approximately 509 feet along south
side of said section 11; thence north parallel with west side of section 12, to said lake U.S. traverse line; thence following the meanderings of said 173.09-foot
contour line westward through section 11 westward and southward through section 10, southward and westward through section 15; thence westward and northward through section 16; thence northward through section 9 to its intersection with the western prolongation
of the line dividing government lot 5 from government lot 6; thence eastward a distance
of approximately 75 feet along said prolongation to the government monument corner
between marker numbers 21 and 22 on the government survey of the meander line of Ferry
Lake; thence eastward a distance of approximately 1440 feet along the line dividing
government lot 5 from government lot 6 to its intersection with the western boundary
line of section 10; thence northward a distance of 1320 feet along said western boundary
line of section 10 to the northwest corner of the southwest quarter of section 10;
thence eastward along the northern boundary of the southwest quarter of section 10
to the northeast corner of the southwest quarter of section 10; thence northward along
the western boundary of the northeast quarter of section 10 to its intersection with
the east-west centerline of the northeast quarter of section 10; thence eastward along
said east-west centerline of the northeast quarter of section 10 to its intersection
with the western boundary line of section 11; thence northward along said western boundary line of section 11 to the northwest corner of the northwest quarter of section 11; thence eastward along the northern boundary line of section 11 to the northwest corner of the northwest quarter of section 12; thence north along west line of said section 1, township 20 north, range 16 west
to the northwest corner of said section 1; thence east along north line of said section
1, which is also south line of section 36, township 21 north, range 16 west, 1242.0 feet to the southwest corner of lot A,
Bland Acres, Unit 2, then northerly along east right-of-way of Louisiana Highway No.
1 406.72 feet to the northwest corner of lot D, Bland Acres, Unit 2; thence easterly
276.26 feet; thence north 0 degrees 47 minutes east 599.70 feet; thence westerly 296.06
feet to the southwest corner of lot K, Bland Acres, Unit 2; which is also the east
right-of-way of Louisiana Highway No. 1; thence northerly along said right-of-way
approximately 563.21 feet to the northwest corner of lot 1, block A, Burton Partition;
thence easterly 141.82 feet to the southeast corner of lot 2; thence northerly 230
feet to the northeast corner of said lot, then westerly 149.51 feet to the northwest
corner of same; thence northerly along Louisiana Highway No. 1 843.40 feet to the
northwest corner of lot 6, Burton Partition; thence easterly 527.8 feet to the northeast
corner of lot 26, Bland Acres, Unit 3; thence southward along east side of lots 14
thru 26 to southeast corner of lot 14, Bland Acres, Unit 3; thence easterly along
Cecelia Drive to right-of-way of Kansas City Southern Railroad; thence southward along
Kansas City Southern Railroad right-of-way to the intersection of the north side of
section 1, township 20 north, range 16 west; thence east along north side of said
section 1 to intersection of east side of Louisiana Highway No. 538; thence southward
along said right-of-way line to the southern boundary of the Texas Company property;
thence east approximately 940 feet to the meander line of Clear Lake; thence southeastward
along said meander line south 22 degrees east 950 feet, south 20 degrees east 660
feet, south 31 degrees east 660 feet, and south 54 degrees east 693 feet to the eastern
boundary of section 1; thence south 0 degrees 50 minutes west 495 feet along said
boundary to the point of beginning.
