§ 44-742. Created; general powers and privileges.

There is hereby created a waterworks district in the parish, to be known as Waterworks District No. Seven, and as thus created shall constitute a public corporation and political subdivision of the state, and shall have all the powers and privileges granted by the constitution and statutes of this state to such subdivisions, including the authority to incur debt, to issue bonds and to levy taxes.
