§ 48-235. Plans and specifications, inspections, etc.

  • Plans and specifications for the proposed streets shall be furnished the parish director of public works for approval prior to construction. The plans shall be prepared and approved by a licensed civil engineer in the state. The plans shall show typical sections, grades, drainage areas for all drainage structures, and any other detail necessary for proper review by the parish director of public works; such as soil, classification, pavement design, anticipated traffic, erosion control, etc. All development shall be inspected by a licensed engineer and all testing shall be performed by a certified testing laboratory.
