§ 12-59. Certificate of secretary of state as to amount of business transacted.

The parish commission shall demand for each company applying for a license a certificate from the secretary of state certifying to the amount of business transacted during the preceding year in the parish by such company as shown by the sworn statement on file in the office of the secretary of state, and a license of each company shall be based upon such certificate.
