§ 12-60. When payable; issuance and display of license receipt.

  • The full amount of license taxes levied herein based on the preceding year's business, shall be paid to the parish on or before March 1 of each year, and the sheriff and tax collector shall issue to the insurer making said payment a license receipt on a printed or lithographed form, showing the amount of said payment and the license class under which said license is paid, which receipt shall be kept on display at the principal office or place of business in the parish.
