§ 16-86. Composition; qualifications; compensation.

(a)

The ambulance board of the parish shall be composed of five qualified electors of the parish who shall be appointed by the parish administrator, subject to the approval of the parish commission, and who shall serve at the pleasure of the parish administrator.

(b)

Ambulance board members shall serve without compensation.

(c)

The ambulance board shall appoint a chairperson and any other officers it may deem necessary from among its members.
