§ 2-51. Director of finance/human resources.

(a)

The position of director of finance/human resources is hereby created.

(b)

The director of finance/human resources will have all the duties and responsibilities of the director of finance as set forth in section 5-02 of the Charter.

(c)

The director of finance/human resources is hereby assigned the additional duties and responsibilities of human resources officer. Said duties shall include the following:

(1)

Prepare and administer such personnel rules and regulations governing the classified service as may be necessary or desirable for carrying out the provisions of the Charter.

(2)

Prepare, install and maintain a uniform classification and pay plan for all positions in the classified service.

(3)

Perform such other duties and functions as may be directed by the parish administrator.
