§ 36-42. Fee to use Earl G. Williamson Park ball field.
Notwithstanding any other provision of this chapter to the contrary, the parish is hereby authorized to impose and collect the following fees to reserve the ball field in Earl G. Williamson Park for tournament competition wherein an entry fee is charged:

The parish parks and recreation department shall require a daily fee to use the Earl G. Williamson Park ball field for use of the field for a weekend tournament, involving both a Saturday and a Sunday, and for use of the field lights. In order to receive a refund due to cancellation of a tournament, a written request shall be received in writing seven days prior to the date of the tournament. Otherwise, the fee is nonrefundable.
(2)
The amounts of the fees charged for the use and occupancy of the Earl G. Williamson Park ball field for a tournament and use of the field lights shall be as established by the parish commission, from time to time.
(3)
The sponsors of the ball tournament shall be required to sign a hold harmless and indemnity agreement with the parish.
