§ 36-41. Rental fees.

Notwithstanding any other provision of this chapter to the contrary, the parish is hereby authorized to impose and collect the following rental fee for the use and occupancy of the pavilion located at the Walter B. Jacobs Nature Park:

(1)

A daily fee will be charged to any person or organization for the use and occupancy of the pavilion for a period of time not to exceed four hours.

(2)

A daily fee will be charged to any person or organization for the use and occupancy of the pavilion for a period of time exceeding four hours.

(3)

The amounts of the daily fees charged for the use and occupancy of the pavilion shall be as established by the parish commission, from time to time.

(4)

No person or organization shall use or occupy the pavilion unless prior approval is granted by the director of parks and recreation and a hold harmless and indemnity agreement has been duly executed and approved by the parish attorney.
